Easy Low Carb Chicken Cordon Bleu
63A fast and easy but very satisfying low carb recipe that everyone will love, even non-low carbers. I couldn't find my mallet to pound the chicken breasts flat, so I just piled everything on top of the chicken breast and baked. It's hard to believe that something which tastes this good could be so easy to make.
A lot of low carb recipes tend to be complicated and time-consuming but this recipe works great when you're short on time and would like something just a little extra special for dinner. Just add a bowl of rice for non low carb eaters and you'll be all set with a delicious meal that everyone will love.
Ingredients
6 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 - tbs. butter
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
6 - slices swiss cheese
6- slices ham
salt & pepper
Melt the butter and pour into a 9x13 pan. Then place the chicken breasts into the pan and sprinkle with salt & pepper and parmesan cheese. Next place a slice of ham over each breast and top with a slice of swiss cheese.
Cover dish with foil and bake at 375 degrees for approx. 40-45 minutes or until done. Recipe serves 6
