One thing to keep in mind when purchasing any type of clothing for your pet is that it's usually a good idea to pick one up a few weeks ahead of time and give your pet time to get used to the idea of wearing it. Other wise if you wait until Halloween before introducing him or her to their new outfit there's a good chance that they may refuse to wear it.

It's also a good idea to not leave your pet unsupervised while wearing a costume otherwise he or she may just decide to chew on it. Which could create a health hazard if they choke.
